2013 BMW 650 I C RWD Safety Features

Here are the safety features that come as standard on the 2013 BMW 650 I C RWD

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

ESC is an advanced safety feature in vehicles designed to help drivers maintain control during challenging driving conditions. By continuously monitoring various factors such as steering angle, vehicle speed, and individual wheel speeds, ESC can detect and reduce the risk of skidding or loss of control. It achieves this by automatically applying brakes to specific wheels to stabilize the vehicle.

Standard
Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) is a safety feature in vehicles that helps prevent frontal collisions by alerting the driver of an imminent collision with a vehicle or obstacle ahead. Using sensors such as radar or cameras, FCW monitors the distance and speed of vehicles in front, and if it detects a potential collision, it provides visual and/or auditory warnings to prompt the driver to take evasive action.

Optional
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is a safety feature in vehicles that alerts drivers when their vehicle unintentionally drifts out of its lane without signaling. Complaint:
"while driving, the car will have a sudden shake, an immediate loss of power and the engine light comes on. the main radio screen displays a drivetrain malfunction, reduced power, immediate service. during this time the car has significant and sustained shaking and loses nearly all forward power. the car must come to an immediate stop and turned off. if you were passing or on a busy highway, this could likely lead to a car accident with no ability to avoid it since the car has little to no power. there are scores of complaints online about this for the 650i gran coupe. there are also youtube postings. the owners have posted that they cannot find the issue. dealers have reprogrammed the ecu, replaced spark plugs, replaced coils, replaced fuel injectors and replaced fuel pumps. even with this, the cars continue to have the same issue, which could easily cause an accident. nhtsa, since bmw has repurchased dozens of bmw 650i gran coupe cars because of this, they are clearly aware of the fault. there are dozens and dozens of posts online and on youtube, this is a well known issue. yet bmw does not have a single fix to resolve the issue. please help us resolve this issue before someone gets killed or injured, unless someone else already has. *tr"
