2011 BMW 750 I Xdrive 4 DR 4WD Safety Features

Here are the safety features that come as standard on the 2011 BMW 750 I Xdrive 4 DR 4WD

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

ESC is an advanced safety feature in vehicles designed to help drivers maintain control during challenging driving conditions. By continuously monitoring various factors such as steering angle, vehicle speed, and individual wheel speeds, ESC can detect and reduce the risk of skidding or loss of control. It achieves this by automatically applying brakes to specific wheels to stabilize the vehicle.

Standard
Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) is a safety feature in vehicles that helps prevent frontal collisions by alerting the driver of an imminent collision with a vehicle or obstacle ahead. Using sensors such as radar or cameras, FCW monitors the distance and speed of vehicles in front, and if it detects a potential collision, it provides visual and/or auditory warnings to prompt the driver to take evasive action.

Optional
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is a safety feature in vehicles that alerts drivers when their vehicle unintentionally drifts out of its lane without signaling. Complaint:
"the n63 engine made by bmw generates too much heat which has caused mine as well as countless others to consume far too much oil over years of usage. the engine's heat has also caused nearly all gaskets and o-rings to become warped and leak oil as well. currently, i put in over 1 quart of premium 5w30 oil every 8-10 days which is far too much. this engine needs to be looked into; i'm happy to participate in first-hand accounting of results of this failed engineering marvel."

"bmw 750 i xdrive 2011 --excessive engine oil consumption and or burning. the design of the valve stem seals is a major safety problem due to excessive oil consumption. the safety concerns are the following: 1) fire hazard. 2) property damage and personal injury 3) polluting the environment with excessive smoke 4) additional cost burden for consumers every time the vehicle is stationary and at the point of acceleration, the is a tremendous amount of smoke that is coming out of the tail pipe. the oil measure turn to low after just 2 weeks of adding oil to the engine. for the following reasons, bmw should be held accountable and be forced to repair the engineering design flaws in their engine that burn excessive amount of oil in a short amount of time. consumer should not have to carry the cost burden of repairing this design flaws. as an owner, i am very disappointed in bmw"

"i purchased this car second-hand after noting that it had an extensive dealer service history and had an extended warranty. after buying it, it began misfiring and was diagnosed with bad fuel injectors, which is a notorious problem for the bmw n63 engine. certain production dates have been given an extended limited warranty - mine did not. the manufacturer did a "customer care package" voluntary recall, which was performed on my car but didn't fix the problem. considering the problem with my car is a known defect, i think bmw should stand behind their product and have it fixed, as it presents a valid safety concern."
