"takata recall - bmw dealers have told me they will fix used cars they have traded in, and bmw corporate (via phone) told me no bmw dealer is allowed to sell a car with an open recall. yet, here i am, going on a year with an open recall, and they continue to tell me that it isn't a big deal, and they don't have the parts. i asked, and was denied a loaner vehicle until parts are available - "they used to do that at the beginning, but don't offer it anymore". but, they seem to have the parts to repair cars that will net them profits. i'm tired of this."
