2007 Chevrolet Avalanche 4-DR Safety Features

Here are the safety features that come as standard on the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche 4-DR

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) is a safety feature in vehicles that helps prevent frontal collisions by alerting the driver of an imminent collision with a vehicle or obstacle ahead. Using sensors such as radar or cameras, FCW monitors the distance and speed of vehicles in front, and if it detects a potential collision, it provides visual and/or auditory warnings to prompt the driver to take evasive action.

Complaint:
"have a 2007 chevy avalanche ltz 5.3l that has a dashboard panel that is completely falling apart and cracking everywhere. this includes multiple cracks and broken pieces surrounding the airbag. i am worried these pieces could get propelled by the airbag if the airbag were to deploy. these cracks and broken parts of the dash have also caused multiple other things to become loose. the controls on the front of the dash are falling out because they can no longer be bolted to the dashboard panel due to it's pieces being broken. i was hoping chevy had a recall as this is an issue with many of their trucks but could not find any information about it. i was hoping there might be some information or help with supplying a replacement dashboard panel part #15915974 from gm/chevrolet. thank you."
