"i had read on a forum for the 2023 colorado that this had happened to people but i didn’t think it would happen to me. i was driving along a road with no other vehicles and no obstacles in front of me going 40 miles an hour, and the front collision avoidance system kicked in and the truck brakes locked in. the truck went from 40 miles an hour to a complete stop almost instantly,. i was very fortunate that the roads were not icy and there was nobody behind me because that could’ve been very dangerous. something needs to be done. there are multiple issues with this new model that general motors doesn’t seem to be taking action on."
