2007 Ford Five Hundred 4-DR. Safety Features

Here are the safety features that come as standard on the 2007 Ford Five Hundred 4-DR.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

ESC is an advanced safety feature in vehicles designed to help drivers maintain control during challenging driving conditions. It achieves this by automatically applying brakes to specific wheels to stabilize the vehicle.

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) is a safety feature in vehicles that helps prevent frontal collisions by alerting the driver of an imminent collision with a vehicle or obstacle ahead. Using sensors such as radar or cameras, FCW monitors the distance and speed of vehicles in front, and if it detects a potential collision, it provides visual and/or auditory warnings to prompt the driver to take evasive action.

No
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is a safety feature in vehicles that alerts drivers when their vehicle unintentionally drifts out of its lane without signaling. "periodically but occuring more often. once the car is placed in drive or reverse but foot still on the brake, once the brake is released the car quickly and aggressively accelerates on it's own without pressing the gas pedal and with very little reaction time you have to slam the brake pedal to make the car stop and then the car cuts off. this has happened at least 4 times within the last month. very dangerous! i have researched recall information for this model as well as my direct vin number associated with my vehicle but i have yet to find a recall. however i have read many reviews of the same issues with other ford 500 owners."
