"in august 2016, i received an "important safety recall" notice from mazda, indicating that my 2007 mazda b3000 truck has been recalled as part of the takata airbag recall. no other information was received from mazda. in april 2017, i emailed mazda customer service to check the status of the recall, and was told that the parts for the recall are not available. they will notify us when the parts are available. it's now been 17 months, since the recall was issued. this vehicle was manufactured by ford motor company in the ford ranger manufacturing plant. today ford issued an urgent recall on the 2006 ford ranger, which is the twin of my vehicle, and manufactured in the same ford assembly plant. \please help ensure mazda / ford is actually going to repair these vehicles. at this point it appears to be no manufacturer accountability."
