"while driving along i 17 south of flagstaff, az, we heard a loud sound, like a gun shot. we pulled over to find no tire had blown, checked the rest of the car, didn't see anything. we continued to drive and started hearing rattling and shaking near the roof. we pulled over again only to find our sunroof was completely shattered. luckily, we had the retractable shade closed, so neither of us was hit with glass, but cars behind us could have been. about 2/3 of the sunroof was already gone. we finished our 90-mile drive home in 100 degrees with the top/shade open so as not to do any damage to the shade itself. driving on an interstate at 70 mph with a semi truck next to us when the explosion occurred, could have been deadly. fortunately, my husband kept control of the vehicle as we somehow got off the highway to safety."
