Complaint:
"side window leaks and dealer is unable to get the replacement glass nor fix the issue in 4 months already. the leak is causing me to have to replace the window myself, likely with plexiglass, though it’s under warranty. this is unsafe and should be properly handled by the dealer in a timely manner."

Complaint:
"driver side passenger second row window randomly shattered. no warning, nothing hitting it just a big pop and glass flying. i was on the freeway with hardly any vehicles on the road. glass stuck my child who's car seat was in the seat next to the window. i pulled over removed her and relocated her to the third row seat since there was glass shards in her seat. my middle seat in the second row is where my 3 month old baby boy was sitting and he had glass shards in his hair. if any small fragments when in his eyes i'm unsure. he had watery eyes but didn't appear to be in pain. my toddler obtained minor scratches on her leg. the mental trauma is real though. that was such a scary situation."

Complaint:
"we purchased our vehicle new in february 2019. the moment it began to get warm i noticed there was hardly any air coming out of the 2 last rows. as it has gotten hotter there is no air coming out of the ac in the back rows. 2 different dealerships have said nothing is wrong that it's working as it should by there temp monitors.1st dealership said they charged up freeon and was working. within the hour the air stopped flowing again. took it to another dealer only to be told it was working but couldn't run test because they didn't have a rental we could use after traveling 500 miles. the side of the driver side window was iced up and we were told it was normal. the driver side vent by the window does not blow cool air, it more warm. i've purchased 2 battery operated fans so my four kids can share because it's so hot in the back. no air, no coolness. i would like nissan to address these issues and better design their 12 passenger vans that are made for big families like mine. with no windows in the back to open this is a big health issue."

"our nissan nv passenger van holds 12 passengers, but rows 2, 3, and 4 are not adequately cooled by the lousy ac ductwork for the back of the van. as this van doesn't have rear windows that can be opened, the van can get dangerously hot in the summer without ventilation."

Complaint:
"we are a foster and adoptive family and needed more space for our foster children. we purchased a new nissan nv 3500 sl on march 31,2018. we asked the dealer about installing the dvd players and if it voided the nissan warranty. after being told the warranty is still very much valid if they install the aftermarket item we agreed. we had dual dvd players and a remote start installed. in juneau the temperature rose we noticed it took a while to get cool. my kids started complaining about the temperature in rows 3 and 4. we noticed little to no air flow in the rear. i searched the internet to make sure i had the dials correct. read the manual and it was still hot. my 4yr old was dripping with sweat and her face was red from being i. the fourth row. i placed a thermometer in the rear and the temperature was 105. front temperature was 63. no matter what we do the rear air conditioning does not send enough air to cool the van. i placed the van in the shop to have it repaired. i was told the company that installed the dvd player had fixed it and it was 100% better. after being in the car i noticed the same amount of heat in the back. i called to inform the dealers service department again and was told to bring it in. again the dvd company was to be called to che k. i was told to come pick up the van. service department told me that the van has a bad airflow design and nithing can be done. i asked if he got in the van and he explained he did and it's really hot. also was told they checked another van on the lot and it's the same. my question was how would anyone be ok with driving their children around in a van that has temperatures 15 to 20 degrees hotter than out side. he told me to talk to nissan because they can't do anything because it works as designed. we have special needs children and the heat has caused one to suffer 2 asthma attacks."
