2019 Nissan Pathfinder SUV FWD Safety Features

Here are the safety features that come as standard on the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder SUV FWD

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

ESC is an advanced safety feature in vehicles designed to help drivers maintain control during challenging driving conditions. By continuously monitoring various factors such as steering angle, vehicle speed, and individual wheel speeds, ESC can detect and reduce the risk of skidding or loss of control. Standard
Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) is a safety feature in vehicles that helps prevent frontal collisions by alerting the driver of an imminent collision with a vehicle or obstacle ahead. Using sensors such as radar or cameras, FCW monitors the distance and speed of vehicles in front, and if it detects a potential collision, it provides visual and/or auditory warnings to prompt the driver to take evasive action.

Standard
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is a safety feature in vehicles that alerts drivers when their vehicle unintentionally drifts out of its lane without signaling. Utilizing cameras or sensors to monitor lane markings on the road, LDW detects when the vehicle crosses these lines and triggers visual, auditory, or haptic alerts to notify the driver of potential lane departure.

"we purchased a brand new nissan pathfinder 2019 in march and today as we were driving down the freeway with no cars to the front of us our sunroof exploded throwing glass everywhere off the back of the vehicle. thank goodness we had the inside visor closed otherwise it would have all come in and hit my 4 year old who was sitting in the back seat. when i contacted the nissan dealership we purchased the vehicle from the service rep said it was a rock and there is nothing nissan can do about it. didn't even listen to the fact there were no cars in front of us and the sunroof exploded outward not in. the explosion absolutely terrified my husband, son and myself as it sounded like a gun shot. i have no idea if the chunks of glass flying off the back of the car ended up hitting any cars that were behind us. *tr"
