"my car is im corolla 2017. when i was driving 2 days ago the air bag warning appeared in the dashboard. i brought the car to the nearest toyota to be checked. i was informed that the spiral cable that connects to the driver's airbag module needs to be replaced. i told the service representative that my car is only more than 3 years old with 32,000 mileage. my concern is my safety driving a car when the spiral cable attached to the driver's airbag is damaged which could deactivates the airbag and caused the airbag warning light to come on. he mentioned i need to pay roughly $700.00 for the spiral electrical wire to be replaced because he haud my car is out of warranty already. is it really my fault if the spiral cable is damaged that deactivates the airbag or is it an existing issue concerning spiral cable connected to airbags. thank you."
