Complaint:
"takata recall the recall was issued on 5/23/16. today is 9/19/17 and the recall is still incomplete. they have failed to provide a solution to this issue in a timely manner. sixteen months is a long time to wait...especially when every time you ride as a passenger you run the risk of being severely injured or killed by the defect. we make sure that our children ride in the back, but if the airbag was to deploy and send metal shrapnel flying though the front seat, there is a chance that they could still be injured or killed. this is completely unacceptable. this is our daily form of transportation. i would rather have no airbag than to run the risk of myself, my children or my husband being impaled by metal shrapnel. this needs to be fixed...immediately."
