"tl* the contact owns a 2009 bmw 750i. the contact stated that while driving various speeds, the vehicle drove rough and nearly shut-off. the contact took the vehicle to four separate unknown dealers and was informed that the vehicle operated as designed. the contact was also concerned about the oil consumption. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who informed him of a class action lawsuit. the dealer bmw of monrovia (1425 s mountain ave, monrovia, ca 91016, 877-269-9618) acknowledged some oil leaks in the engine and repaired the engine for $2600. the dealer also stated that there was a class action lawsuit and that the engine would be replaced with permission from the manufacturer. the manufacturer did not approve replacing the engine. the failure mileage was 40,000."
