"blind spot detection system warning sensor (object sensor/ control module) on my vehicle has gone out. i was driving and all of a sudden my dash goes black. then it cuts back on going haywire, all sorts of lights and warnings came on. i pulled over to check the car out, turning it off to see if a restart would fix the issue and the car would not start. so i had to tow to the dealer which in this pandemic was closed. when the guy at the dealer told me it was bad he said it goes bad from getting wet. cars are supposed to get wet no? after looking online someone said that gm knows about this problem and redesigned the part to work better, yet they want me to pay almost $1000 to fix a problem they fixed for the same reason. this is ridiculous. *tr"
