2007 Nissan 350Z 2-DR. Safety Features

Here are the safety features that come as standard on the 2007 Nissan 350Z 2-DR.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

ESC is an advanced safety feature in vehicles designed to help drivers maintain control during challenging driving conditions. By continuously monitoring various factors such as steering angle, vehicle speed, and individual wheel speeds, ESC can detect and reduce the risk of skidding or loss of control. It achieves this by automatically applying brakes to specific wheels to stabilize the vehicle.

Optional
Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) is a safety feature in vehicles that helps prevent frontal collisions by alerting the driver of an imminent collision with a vehicle or obstacle ahead. Using sensors such as radar or cameras, FCW monitors the distance and speed of vehicles in front, and if it detects a potential collision, it provides visual and/or auditory warnings to prompt the driver to take evasive action.

No
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is a safety feature in vehicles that alerts drivers when their vehicle unintentionally drifts out of its lane without signaling. Complaint:
"on 07/02/14 i was driving home from work when i approached a red light near my residence pushed the clutch in and the pedal went to the floor and clutch did not engage almost causing a collision. i was able to slowly drive home to try and figure out what the problem could be. i checked the fluid in the clutch cylinder and it was nearly empty. i filled it up with dot 3 brake fluid and the clutch started to work some but then the fluid leaked out again.the next morning i got into the car to go to work and the clutch went to the floor again. i drove the car to the local nissan dealer and explained the problem. on 7/3/14 i called nissan corporation and explained that according to the internet their had been a re-call on the slave cylinder(which causes this problem to occur) and i would like to have my car repaired at their expense. i left my car at sheehey nissan in waldorf md with service advisor [xxx] (301-843-5300) who stated they would have to look the car over to determine if the malfunctioning part is the slave cylinder. on 7/3/14 i spoke with [xxx] at 1-800-647-7261 ext 457390 claim# [xxx] (nissan corp) she advised that they would have to confirm the issue through the dealership and then the information would be forwarded up to the regional dist. office to determine if nissan would repair my vehicle.two days later i was contacted by [xxx] (1-800-343-6913 ext [xxx]) from the regional office and she explained that due to the car's age and being out of warranty they would not repair my vehicle. please review and assist me with a problem that could cause someone to lose their life. nissan should have to honor the re-call notwithstanding it being outside of the warranty. a recall is a recall acknowledging that the part is faulty and should be corrected at their expense. please assist. thank you. Complaint:
"nissan has a clutch orifice valve that helps regulate pressure to the clutch. this valve, when faulty can cause a car to lose ability to shift their car into and or out of gear. nissan is fully aware of this issue with the clutch orifice valve, and has discontinued its use. this valve is not listed in nissan's factory service manual, nor is it a normal wear and tear part. this part cannot be purchased either through nissan or it's dealers, nor is it available online through an aftermarket dealer. as a result, nissan is requiring that the faulty valve (30589-cf00b) be replaced with three additional parts, at the consumers cost. these parts are clutch orifice valve (30650-cd000), tube assembly (30851-cd00a), and clutch cover assembly (30205-jk0c). nissan will not replace this valve for any consumer, unless their vehicle is under warranty. given that this is an engineering issue, and not a customer issue, nissan should issue a safety recall for anyone who may experience this issue. this part can cause severe safety issues to not only the drivers, but any passengers they have as well as other drivers/vehicles on the road. by not being able to shift into or out of gear, this simple $50 oem valve, can cause drivers undue harm. this is simply a monetary issue for nissan, and is not an issue that any motorist should have to endure as a result of their faults for choosing a faulty product. *tr"

"while driving in traffic along a uphill i engaged the clutch pedal to shift into 2nd gear when the clutch pedal did not disengage as i let off my foot. instead, the vehicle automatically revved itself up to 6500 rpm while rolling back. as the clutch pedal was stuck there was an absurd amount of burning odor, smelled like the clutch was being burned. i had to immediately turn the car off, luckily the car behind me had enough time to move out of the way. almost crashed because of this and was unable to drive it from that point on. *tr"
